February 21, 2010 - Recording Artist Etcetera, Founder and Chairman of IDOL MUSIC GROUP and TEAM IDOL, has been selected to receive this year's Young, Gifted & Black (YGB) Entrepreneurial Award for his impact in the community by helping many young men and women excel in the area of sports and academics, which ultimately became success stories in Brooklyn, NY.
Carl O. Gray, President and CEO, The NetLinkz Group, Inc., and Founder of Unified Network of Business Professionals, will be presenting the YGB Entrepreneurial Award to Recording Artist Etcetera for his talent, ambition and achievements toward the "Continued Pursuit of Success."
The YGB Entrepreneurial Award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Tribeca Rooftop located at 2 Desbrosses Street, New York City. Hosted by comedians, Talent of 98.7 Kiss FM (2006 YGB Honoree) and Drew Fraser (2008 YGB Honoree) who performed on HBO's Bad Boys of Comedy, Def Comedy Jam and BET Comic View.
In honor of this special milestone, the YGB Entrepreneurial Awards is a strong supporter of Census 2010 and welcomes Lester A. Farthing, New York State Regional Director of the Census Bureau as its Keynote Speaker, and has partnered with Reversing the Projections, Inc., which inspires and assists youth to overcome the negative elements that impact their lives, and the Nina Simone Foundation to recognize the artistic contributions of the famed songstress with two YGB Entrepreneurial Awards given in her honor. |
