September 21, 2009 - “Hip Hop Shop,” hosted by music and pop culture insider Toure’, premieres on Fuse, the only network dedicated to music on Wednesday, September 23 at 7pm ET. “Hip Hop Shop” will serve up a weekly jolt of urban flavor, featuring music videos from notable classics to the hottest jams of today, along with the latest news and in-studio interviews with musicians and celebrities. The premiere episode will feature singer and actress Naturi Naughton to talk about her upcoming role in the remake of Fame.
“Hip Hop Shop” is one of four new music-centric shows in Fuse’s programming lineup – each hosted by their respective experts on Pop, Alternative, Hip Hop and Rock. Toure’, host of the “Hip Hop Shop,” was first seen on CNN’s “American Morning’s 90 Second Pop” as the network’s pop culture correspondent, covering both the Oscars and Grammys. He has also worked as a host for BET and “Access Hollywood,” is the author of three books and has been published in the New Yorker and New York Times. Toure’s work can also be seen in Rolling Stone, where he has served as a contributing editor since 1997. |
