November 13, 2008 - 3rd Times A Charm for Chart topping, hip hop recording artist PLIES, who's set to release his 3rd studio album "Da REAList" on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Da REAList has been preceived as Plies most dynamic musical efforts to date as it creatively touches on life, love, and politcs. Several tracks from the album including the controversial "Pants Hang Low" and the street elections anthem "Heard of Me" have been overwhelming the streets, underground radio, and night clubs across the country.
The first official radio single "Put It On Ya" featuring Big Gates recording artist Chris J and produced by super producer No I.D. is already impacting radio airwaves at a record breaking rate.
With the release of two albums in less than a year, Plies is undenibly honeing the title of one of the hardest working rappers in the game to date.
PLIES, born in the controversial streets of Ft. Myers, Florida Plies began his musical career in 2003 with the guidance of his older brother Ronell "Big Gates" Levatte. Signed to Big Gates/Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic records, PLIES made an impressive national debut in August of 2007 with his certified gold album The Real Testament which spawned chart topping singles such as "Shawty" feat. T-Pain, "Hypnotized" feat. Akon and "I Am the Club" and sold over 2 million ring tones collectively. In recent months the rapper has launched an interactive, dual purpose fan club, and kicked off a nationwide "Street Elections 08" campaign in preparations of his 3rd album Da REAList.
