"Sebastian is poised to be the next male R&B singer of our day and we are very pleased to have him on the label," says Chauncy Jackson, "His debut album will help to further cultivate Siri Music and solidify his growth as an artist.”
In December 2005, at 16 years old, Sebastian attracted the attention of Steve Greenberg, then president of Columbia Records. Although Sebastian’s time at Columbia Records was short lived due to the restructuring of the company, he was fortunate enough to have met with Jackson this past year, "I'm extremely excited to be given a second chance to make the music I love, and to be able to share it with the world. I want to thank Chauncy and the Siri Music family for believing in me," says Sebastian.
Sebastian’s has lend his voice to several projects. Most recently, he performed at the Hague Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. He is also on Disney’s Jump In album with the You Tube favorite “Where I Go From Here” and can be heard on the songs “A Time To Love” and “My Love Is On Fire,” from Stevie Wonder’s most recent album A Time To Love. "We are ready to expose a naturally gifted artist to the industry," says Jackson. "Times are changing and consumers want substance. We plan to extend his reach while developing an artist that speaks to the youth for years to come."
In the coming months, Siri Music plans to release music from Stefani Vara, Lillian Roberts, Okera, Sasha Nutgent, as well as the sophomore release from Siri Music is first artist Jeremiah.
