DANIELLE DAVIS: Don't worry about forgetting the name Danielle Davis because this is someone you will definitely be hearing more from in the near future!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 2) Which style do u prefer?
DANIELLE DAVIS: I am definitely working as hard as I can on my style and my own way of doing things... I think that you can gain inspiration from different sources but you have to be as true to yourself as possible and showcase who you are because (as we all know) there is only one you in the world! If you don't make YOUR mark and do what you are meant to do then no one can do it for you. And them's the breaks! So I am hoping that I consistently build on what I have done previously and work toward a solid image and style both visually and musically. I consider myself a mix of pop & R&B, basically a rhythmic pop and I am always trying to develop this further but I think the way I sing certain things and the way I write ties in to my own definite sound that I am constantly working to define!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 3) Is there a singer that inspired u?
DANIELLE DAVIS: I am inspired every day by singers, artists, actors, and even friends. Some singers that I really admire are people like Nina Simone; her rawness brings me to tears all the time. I love Gwen and Madonna for being so original and visual, I love Carlos Santana, Mariah for her sheer talent... Kanye is just Kanye and I respect him so much, his conviction and belief in himself inspires me and I'm sure a lot of other people.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 4) What do u feel to say about the nowadays "Music Game"?
DANIELLE DAVIS: I think the word "Game" definitely is an accurate descriptor for it... you have to know what you are doing or at least be ready to learn fast and learn from your mistakes and build your relationships ALL the time. We knew that this was a crazy industry to get into but I don't think anything can really prepare you for how things actually go down. Its very hard and it takes an enormous amount of time and effort but if you have a good team, a good base, and belief in yourself... you never know what you can accomplish and that is the honest truth! You wont know unless you try!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 5) Is there a rapper/singer that u would like to work with?
DANIELLE DAVIS: I would love to work with Kanye... he has an old school feel I love (and I have a song just waiting for him!)...as does Alicia Keys. I would love to do a track with Gwen and I think it would be coo to work with TI too or even Mos Def...! Haaa, and Busta Rhymes that would be off the chain... cuz I would love to do somethin' way over the top and surreal with him, he can def pull that off!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 6) When could we appreciate a live performance with u?
DANIELLE DAVIS: I am going to be performing all over and like I said it would be a dream to come to Italy! I will also be performing as much as I can and in as many places as possible!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 7) What can we expect from DANIELLE DAVIS in the future?
DANIELLE DAVIS: Mo mo and mo stuff! I am trying to do the mostest and work with as many opportunities as I can grab onto! I want to sing, I want to act, I want to be a face for a perfume, I want to HAVE my own perfume so everyone can smell oh so good! Haha! And mainly I want to create music that everyone can dance and sing to the same way I love to dance and sing to my favorite artists! I'm about to BRING IT!
