D.O.E.: I'm from NORTHSIDE QUEENS, born and raised, been on my grind for a minute and NOW!! NOW!! I'M HERE BITCHES!!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 2) How would you describe your style?
D.O.E.: My style is diverse. I can rap about anything cause I been thru so many different stages in my life, but overall my style is hood with a lil humor to it. Like my first mixtape was straight hood!! But @the same time it was funny cause it was a parody of g-unit called "ME-UNIT" that's how I does it. Word!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 3) Where do you get your inspiration from?
D.O.E.: Life! Experience! Everything around me is a story. I just go in the booth and speak on it.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 4) The Mixtape that started your career is “Me Unit” (a parody of G-Unit)…What can you tell us about that project?
D.O.E.: See, I was just talking about this. Well @the time I couldn't get on anybody's mixtape, so I said fuck it and did my own. But everybody was doing there own mixtape and I didn't wanna be a needle in a hay stack, I wanted to Dominate Over Everyone ( D.O.E. ) Like that plug right? Yeah man I'm a pro! But like I was say'n I wanted to stand out so I decided to do parodies of an Artist that was out @the time and G-Unit was the hottest so I said fuck it! "ME-UNIT"....yeah man I did it, AND!!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 5) You are signed to Interscope and managed by Ei8ht Park Music Group. How do you fell about your entrance into this new family?
D.O.E.:I'm cool with it, they go hard! Shout out to the whole staff Dre, Brent, Mary Lou and Aiysha.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 6) What do you think of the music industry? About the “Rap Game” right now?
D.O.E.: I wish you could see my face right now....man the game is not the same, it's so phony! That's why I do me, I mean dudes are going hard to act hard. I'm good, a real nigga ain’t gonna go hard to prove he's a gansta, he's play possum! And that's all I gotta say about that!
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 7) How did you hook up with Lil’ Jon and Timbaland?
D.O.E.: I signed to Timbaland in '04, and we did the song 2gether and added Lil Jon later.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 8) Recently, you have worked with them on your single titled “Rollin”. What’s the reason for this title? Tell me something about this song.
D.O.E.: The song is for the hood! My hood, your hood, everybody Rollin; on '24's, on bitch ass niggaz, on skates whatever, it's for yall.......FROM NORTHSIDE TO YOURSIDE, IT'S ALRIGHT.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 9) Give us a rundown of where you have performed.
D.O.E.: Man I've performed everywhere I've been invited. Sometimes they don't even invite me I just show up like "yo what's good? It's D.O.E. BITCH!! Let me get like 5 minutes"......it doesn't work all the time though.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 10) What are your plans for the future? And when can we expect your solo album?
D.O.E.: My plans for the future are to Dominate Over Everyone (D.O.E.) See! I did it again, I'm really a pro. But yeah my plans are to put out good music, stay focused and humble and live life.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 11) What message would you like to leave the Rap/Hip Hop/R&B community?
D.O.E.: HERE I COME BITCHES!!!
