GANGSTASPARTY.com: 1) First off, I’d like to ask how got your name ANONYMOUS?
ANONYMOUS:I never get tired off telling this story. I got it back in 1993. I was doing
Amateur Night At The Apollo and I was on the subway. Will and I were talking
about what they were going to introduce me as when I came out on stage. He was
like "When you blow up in the game what do you want? Do you want to be famous?
Do you want money?" I was like "Nah. I just want to spit lyrics and remain
Anonymous."
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 2) Introduce us ANONYMOUS How would u describe your style?
ANONYMOUS: My style is genuine. I really live every detail I talk about. Whether it be
the wonderful team I have around me. Or maybe the rappers I encounter on a
daily basis. Or my political views. Or my relationship with my daugther and
her mother. I’m famous for airing out everybody and anybody whether it be
positive or negative. I’m best well known for airing myself out on record. I
can get it as easily as anyone else.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 3) Would u like to change anything about the beginning of your career (2001) ?
ANONYMOUS: No….It has been a blessing since I came into the game professionally. What a
lot of people don’t know is that I started this career move on July 7th 2001
at 7pm. How could I not succeed being backed by triple 7’s. That’s the
closest number to god. Just like Michael was the closest angel to god. Just
guess what my real name is? That’s right…
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 4) What do u feel to say about the nowadays Rap Game?
ANONYMOUS: The game is in a beautiful place. I hate when people complain about the state
of hip-hop or music in general. Do you know that in my town I’m looked up to
more than teachers, police men, and the mayor?
How great is it that an independent rapper with 4 years under my belt can get
that much influence. I used to manage a company before rap where 1000’s of
people where motivated by me. Now I get to be the motivator for millions of
people. All because of The Rap Game.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 5) In today "Rap Game", the most popular elements for the creation of a lyric are Cars, Women, Jewelries.. but Where do u get your inspiration from?
ANONYMOUS: I’m inspired by the people behind the scenes. Larry Page and Sergey Brin of
Google. Or Tom Anderson of myspace. People who create something from nothing
when they began without a pot to piss in. Also lets not forget that its okay
to talk about Cars, Women and Jewelery. As long as it’s not fraudulent. Do I
really own the vehicles I say I do? Yes Did I really have so many women
looking at Anonymous as a lottery ticket that I had to get married. Yes. Did
I really own that Tag Huer Watch That I bragged about? Yes…You see it’s cool
to talk about what you have worked hard for and what you are working towards.
It’s irrelevant when you value your life and or anothers existence on material
wealth. That’s half the problem right there. The other is the vocabulary
artists use. If you look in a thesaurus for another way to say something
that’s hot. If you use the same 1% of limited human vocabulary then that’s
where the problem lies.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 6) Are u also attacking the mixtape circuit?
ANONYMOUS: I’m selective about the mixtapes I’m on. Even the term mixtape is tired.
These days there filled with lots of trash. Plus there’s no money in mixtapes
for the artist. The bootleggar and the DJ fight for the crumbs. The artist
is getting free promotion. I push my own units. 146,000 since 2001 to be
exact. I don’t need a mixtape DJ to cosign my existence.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 7) What do u feel to say about your collaboration with DJ Vlad?
ANONYMOUS: It’s really not a collaboration. I’m just featured on his unsigned hype section of his website. He’s a hard working brother but it’s just business.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 8) Anonymous has recently released his new album titled Millennium Rapper. What do u feel to say about it? What’s the reason for this title?
ANONYMOUS: Point blank period I represent The Millennium Rapper’s. We don’t act like
rappers. We don’t talk like rappers. We don’t need criminal backgrounds to
prove our credibility. We grew around og’s who wanted better for us.
GANGSTASPARTY.com: 9) Tell us something about your future projects.
ANONYMOUS: The Best In The Business Drops In 2006. It’s my sixth independent album.
Let’s make it the one that goes national. Thank you for having me and remember Love Life Forget this Thug Life f the g code believe in your people.
